In the spirit of giving back and empowering communities, Gina Raposa Johnson, CEO and founder of Gina Johnson Co. Entrepreneurial Business Coaching (https://ginajohnson.co/), successfully hosted the inspiring Purse Project event on March 6th, 2025. Gina, known widely for her impactful work as a holistic business coach, has a unique gift for uniting community service with entrepreneurial networking.

The Purse Project was an innovative and heartfelt initiative aimed at repurposing gently used handbags into care packages filled with essential personal items, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorants, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, lip balms, feminine hygiene products, combs, brushes, and band-aids. This beautiful blend of philanthropy and community-building attracted passionate volunteers from diverse backgrounds, all eager to make a meaningful impact.

Among the dedicated volunteers was Yvette Glenn, co-founder and CEO of Wealth Beacon Group Foundation. Yvette enthusiastically joined the event, not only contributing her time and energy but also fostering meaningful connections with fellow participants. Throughout the evening, she enjoyed networking and collaborating, carefully packing donated purses and transforming them into thoughtful care packages for individuals in need.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity and teamwork at the Purse Project, Yvette was able to take away three large bags brimming with fully stocked purses, ready to bring comfort and dignity to others. Wealth Beacon Group Foundation plans to distribute these thoughtfully assembled bags to their tenants and local partners in the upcoming week, extending the project's positive impact even further.

This event exemplifies the powerful outcomes that arise when communities come together with purpose and compassion. Gina Johnson’s dedication to holistic coaching and community empowerment, combined with Yvette Glenn's unwavering commitment to service and collaboration, serves as a reminder of how impactful partnerships and networking can truly transform lives and strengthen communities.
